 How to wash?

Direct-to-garment (DTG) printed t-shirts require special care when washing to preserve the quality of the print and prevent any damage to the fabric. Here are some detailed instructions on how to wash DTG t-shirts:

DTG t-shirts may have unique washing instructions based on the type of ink used, the fabric material, or other factors.
  1. Turn the t-shirt inside out: Turning your DTG t-shirt inside out before washing will protect the printed design from rubbing against other items in the washing machine, which can cause the print to fade or crack.

  2. Wash in cold water: DTG t-shirts should always be washed in cold water to prevent the ink from bleeding or fading. Using hot water can cause the fabric to shrink and may also damage the print.

  3. Use a mild detergent: Avoid using harsh detergents, bleach, or fabric softeners, as they can damage the DTG print. Instead, use a mild detergent that is free from any harsh chemicals or additives.

  4. Wash with similar colors: To prevent color bleeding or fading, always wash your DTG t-shirts with similar colors. Avoid washing them with white clothing, as the ink may transfer onto the white fabric.

  5. Avoid using the dryer: High heat from the dryer can cause the DTG print to fade or crack. Instead, hang the t-shirt to air dry or use a low heat setting on your dryer.

  6. Iron carefully: If you need to iron your DTG t-shirt, do so on a low heat setting, and avoid ironing directly over the printed design. Place a clean cloth over the print and iron over the cloth.

Following these instructions will help you maintain the quality and longevity of your DTG t-shirts, keeping them looking vibrant and new for a long time.
